3 Easy DIY Halloween Costumes

I don’t always dress up for Halloween, but when I do, I want something that’s fun and sassy, yet covered up. Ahead I’m sharing three costumes that aren’t only easy and affordable, but super festively fun!

1. Mary Poppins

I was totally inspired by Lauren Conrad’s Mary Poppins look a few years back, so I had to recreate it!

2. Cat in the Hat

Since I love the musical, Seussical, this costume was a no brainer for me!

What you’ll need:

  • Long sleeve black shirt
  • Black leggings
  • Black tutu
  • Red ribbon for the bow
  • Cat in the Hat hat
  • Black shoes (I wore these same ones from the year before because I love them that much! If I could recommend any shoe for a Halloween costume, I would definitely suggest these because they give you a little bit of height and sass but also are ridiculously comfy and perfect for walking or dancing in!)

3. Sandy Dumbrowski

I wrote about my experience playing Sandy in Grease back in high school in this post, but this would obviously make such a cute Halloween costume!

I can’t believe Halloween is so soon! Do you have any fun plans this year??
