Beauty & the Budget: 5 More MUST HAVE Drugstore Products

One of my first posts was on some of my favorite drugstore beauty buys, and I thought it was about time that I talked about a few more of my faves!

1. Simple Micellar Cleansing Water  (Use with basic cotton rounds)

I love this stuff so much! When I first started wearing makeup back in high school, I used vaseline to remove it (a greasy mess, I don’t recommend it.) When I got to college I started using makeup remover wipes (they do the job, but you don’t get much for your $$$ and they made my face burn so bad!) I finally discovered micellar water this past year and used the Garnier one for a while, which works okay, but I’m obsessed with this one by Simple. I swear, if you try this out, you’ll never try any other makeup removing remedy again!

2. Moroccan Argan Oil

My hair isn’t super dry, but I still put a small amount of this stuff in my hair after I wash it and it keeps my ends from getting split. This is definitely a product that I think would work really well on all hair types since mine is kind of a combination type and I love it! Just remember that a little definitely goes a long way with any kind of hair oil!

3. e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer

This primer was my ride or die for years. It wasn’t heavy, it didn’t make your eyelids a weird color, and it never creased. About a year ago, I went to Target to get more, and they had totally changed the product! It went from being an easy liquid/wand application to this horrible waxy, yellow stick! Needless to say I was heartbroken that they had totally ruined such an awesome product! This past month, I went to the store, and noticed the original was back in all its glory!! I’m guessing people complained and now it’s back to the way it was and I couldn’t be happier! This is hands down the best drugstore eye primer you can buy and you can’t beat its $2 price tag!

4. L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift Foundation

For years I always thought foundation would make your face cakey no matter what brand you used, so I always avoided it. On a whim, I bought this foundation last year, and now I can’t get enough! I use it on the daily during the fall, winter, and spring months. It gives just the right amount of coverage and never looks thick. I’m in love!

5. Sinful Colors Nail Polish

I’ve tried more nail polish brands than I can count, and I always come back to this brand. From my personal experience, I can get a good week or more out of this polish without it chipping, whether it’s a glitter polish or not! That’s saying a lot since most other brands will chip after 2-3 days. I get mine at Target, but you can get it at so many other retailers. The best part about it? Each bottle of polish is like 2 bucks or less!! I can’t even dream about paying $8 for a bottle of Essie again!

Do you already use any of these products? Are there any others I should try??
