Today I’m sharing another Greenbrier outfit post! I wore this dress the second day we were there. When I initially packed for the trip, I packed all spring clothes. It was in the 40’s and raining the whole time, but the good thing about the Greenbrier is that most of the activities are indoors, so I could still wear all my fun spring things, like this dress!
I’ve really been into midi-length dresses nowadays. Back in high school I refused to wear anything that wasn’t above my knees, and now I think that knees are the ugliest things in the world, haha! When the weather gets horribly hot, I’ll def be wearing shorter dresses, but there’s something so classic about this length. This outfit would be much cuter with a wedge or even a lace up sandal, but I went for my most comfortable pair, since I knew we would be doing a lot of walking. This was the day that we went on the bunker tour. Besides being a place with top notch decor, the Greenbrier was also once used to house a secret, underground bunker for U.S. Congress in the case of a nuclear attack. You can read more about that HERE. It’s really fascinating!
This room where we took these photos is my grandma’s favorite. Her favorite color is yellow, and these stunning, floral yellow curtains with the big bows are so fun. (Her least favorite thing is when people say “so fun,” it’s apparently not proper grammar, hahaha 🙂 )
Dress: Old Navy
Sandals: Cole Haan (similar)
Hope you have a happy Friday and an even happier weekend!
